This is a very good English language Urdu dictionary of the Holy Qur'an. It contains a good many definitions, (many pages are given to definitions of common words), and is very often referred to in the Qur'an. Since the author is a Sunnah rejector, he has inserted baseless material in a few of the roots. Caution is advised. It contains some rare and useful material but this caution and his bias should be kept in mind.
Walaa Allaou Wa Alla Othmanoon (Allaou means he will have no descendants, Othmanoon means he will have no offspring but his descendants will inherit the land etc.) Urdu - by the author of the English version of the Qur'an. The author has committed many errors of translating the same word in different contexts. Therefore, the English version of the Qur'an should not be trusted. The Arabic text is authentic.
The Holy Qur'an Encyclopedic English dictionary of the Qur'an (including all hadith & other Islamic materials that are useful and in no way essential to understanding or using the Qur'an). It quotes from hundreds of other books. I have been using this and it is very good. Also a good English book. In spite of its size, it contains a very good selection of questions, useful notes and some additional material. Always good to add to one's knowledge.
